KUSUM RANI

My father is a small shopkeeper whose income is not sufficient to raise a family of seven. Beside that I belong to a small village of Haryana, where girls are hardly given a chance to complete their schooling. In such circumstances wishing to become a manger in a reputed company was just a day dream for me. But right now I am pursuing MBA final semester from Rai Foundation besides that I am working in Shri Ganesh Rice Mills & Co. and earning sufficient enough to support my family. I have also completed my 40 day industrial training in Escorts Ltd. Mathura Road, Faridabad. And this all became possible due to Rai Foundation’s GGGS program which provides free education and lodging to underprivileged girl students from across the globe. I am also thankful to Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala who nominated me for this program. This program not only gave me quality education but a sense of responsibility towards my society.
