I belong to a remote village of Bhutan. I lost my father a few years ago and the responsibility of my family came on to my mother’s shoulders. I have three sisters and one brother; two of my sisters are studying in school.  It was very difficult for my mother to provide bread and butter to all of us. In such circumstances thinking of higher education was just a day dream to me but youth development fund, a NGO in Bhutan nominated me to Rai Foundation’s GGGS scholarship. Rai Foundation provides free education and boarding to under-privileged girls across the globe. Presently, I am pursuing BBA under GGGS scholars in Behror campus. Now I am sure that after completing this course I will get a good job and will be able to support my family.
